Weigel Broadcasting Co. To Merge into CBS Corporation.


Ending a tumultuous four week courtship, CBS Corporation to Acquired Weigel Broadcasting Co. they were merged their sprawling operations, enforced seal to deal is making CBS Corporation's position as the world's largest communications company. it includes Weigel Broadcasting Co's Flagship station WCIU-TV Channel 26 (Independent) in Chicago Will Move into the Block 37 108 North State Street That's Where is at WBBM-TV Studios, and the deal will created a duopoly with the CBS network's owned WBBM-TV (Channel 2) in Chicago, As such WCIU-TV will continue to operate as an independent station, one of four in CBS's portfolio alongside KCAL-TV in Los Angeles, WLNY-TV in Riverhead, New York City, and  KTXA in the Fort Worth-Dallas metroplex. For CBS Television Stations (CBS Corporation) will buy WCWW-LD The CW 25 Michiana in South Bend, WDJT-TV, and WMLW-TV in Milwaukee, For Gannett Company will Buying WBND-TV (ABC 57) and WMYS-TV Channel 69 in South Bend, and Weigel Broadcasting Co's Me-TV Will Bring into CBS Corporation! if the merger is approved and the deal could be finalized by early 2014.
